AP Calculus and High School Math Teacher

Chiang Rai International School (CRIS) in Chiang Rai, Thailand, is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic AP Calculus and High School Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team.

This is a full-time position with a monthly salary of 55,000 Baht. CRIS offers a WASC-accredited international school environment with motivated students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification from an accredited institution
• A minimum of two years of middle or high school teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom expertise
• Student-centered, flexible, creative, and committed to providing engaging instruction
• Attentive to students’ social-emotional learning needs
• Commitment to collaborative lesson planning and teamwork
• Proficiency in educational, administrative, and communication technologies
• Strong English communication skills, including excellent written communication

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons, including AP Calculus and other assigned courses
• Foster critical thinking, academic growth, and active student participation
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Develop standards-based instructional units
• Provide meaningful feedback to students, parents, and administrators
• Assess and evaluate student progress
• Maintain accurate records and prepare professional reports according to the school's schedule
