Winter Camp English Teacher

Erican Language Centre is looking for enthusiastic, energetic and professional English teachers to join our upcoming Winter English Camp in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who enjoy working with children and teenagers, want to gain international teaching experience, and would like to experience life in one of Southeast Asia's most vibrant and multicultural cities.

Established in 1990, Erican Language Centre is part of the Erican Education Group, a well-established education organisation in Malaysia. For more than 35 years, Erican has provided English language education to students in Malaysia and internationally. Our programmes cater to children, teenagers and adults and include Cambridge English programmes, English communication programmes and the Erican International English curriculum. About the Winter Camp

Our Winter Camp provides students with an exciting and immersive English-learning experience during the school holiday period. Teachers will deliver engaging English lessons and activities designed to encourage students to speak English, communicate confidently, participate actively and enjoy learning. The camp provides a lively, multicultural environment where teachers can work with students from different backgrounds.

• Camp Period: January – February 2027
• Student Age: Approximately 5–18 years old
• Programme: English lessons, communication activities, games and camp activities
• Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Environment: International and multicultural

The Role

As a Winter Camp English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching engaging English lessons to children and teenagers
• Delivering lessons according to the provided curriculum and learning objectives
• Encouraging students to communicate and participate actively
• Conducting speaking, vocabulary, grammar and communication activities
• Organising educational games and interactive classroom activities
• Monitoring students' progress and classroom participation
• Providing student feedback when required
• Preparing lessons and classroom materials
• Working closely with the academic and camp operations teams
• Participating in selected camp activities and events
• Maintaining a professional, positive and supportive classroom environment

We are looking for teachers who are energetic, responsible, adaptable and genuinely enjoy working with young learners and teenagers.

Camp Hours

Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Native or highly proficient English speaker
• Bachelor's degree / TEFL / TESOL / CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification
• Previous English teaching experience
• Professional, responsible and reliable
• Energetic and enthusiastic classroom personality
• Enjoy working with children and teenagers
• Able to work effectively as part of a multicultural team
