Volunteer English Teaching Assistant in Colombia

We have sent more than 190 volunteers to Mexico and Colombia since 2009, and we continue to grow. We are looking for volunteer teachers in Colombia.

Program Details

• Semester program: teaching in exchange for housing and meals with a Colombian teacher; no work visa required.
• Time commitment: between two and four months (dates are flexible; for reference, semesters begin in February and August).
• Locations: Monteria (female only, per host family arrangements) and Popayan (male or female).
• The program is an English teaching assistant position working with public school English teachers in the classroom and in conversational English classes.

Qualifications

• 24+ years old
• Undergraduate degree
• One year of teaching experience or a CELTA/Oxford Seminars TEFL certificate
