Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching in Art and Design across KS3–KS5, including A-Level Digital Media and Design
- Plan and implement a structured IGCSE Art and Design curriculum
- Support students in developing creativity, technical skills, and independent portfolios
- Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level assessments
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities in Visual Arts
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment aligned with school values
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Education or a relevant bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant role at an international school
- Recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent licence
- Understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum
- Native English speaker or excellent English proficiency, both spoken and written
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Art and Design
- Strong understanding of Digital Media tools and creative software
