Visual Arts Teacher for IGCSE and A Level
About this position
Meritton British International School in Chiang Mai is currently seeking a dedicated Visual Arts Teacher for IGCSE/A-Level to join our expanding team. This full-time role offers a salary of at least ฿73,000 per month. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching in Art and Design for KS3 to KS5, including A-Level Digital Media and Design.
- Develop and implement an IGCSE Art and Design curriculum.
- Assist students in developing their creativity, technical skills, and independent portfolios.
- Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level assessments.
- Participate in curriculum development and visual arts enrichment activities.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment in line with school values.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an international school setting.
- A recognized teaching qualification such as a PGCE with QTS or an equivalent license.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Native English speaker or excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Dedication to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning.
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Art and Design.
- Proficiency in Digital Media tools and creative software.
