Upper Primary Homeroom Teacher

Phoenix Wittaya School is seeking an Upper Primary homeroom teacher to join our expanding school. We need teachers for P4–P6 levels. Teachers with experience in mathematics and science are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate teaching and learning
• Teach English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), grammar, mathematics, science and social studies
• Work Monday to Friday, 07:40–16:00

Qualifications

• Native English speaker (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand)
• University degree
• At least 2+ years teaching experience in Thailand
• Strong preference for candidates with a degree in education, PGCE, or a postgraduate diploma in education
• Passionate, energetic, creative, responsible, and caring towards children

Benefits

• Up to 60,000 THB for qualified teachers (degree in education or degree plus a postgraduate certificate in education); lower pay if unqualified, but not less than 50,000 THB
• Accident insurance provided free of charge, covering up to 10,000 THB
• Approximately 7 weeks paid vacation allocated at various times of the year upon passing probation
• Free Thai lunch at the school
• Education for up to 2 of the teacher's children free of charge (covers admission and tuition fees only)
• Visa and work permit fees reimbursed on completion of the contract; school provides assistance with visa paperwork
