Temporary Secondary History Teacher

Amnuay Silpa School in Bangkok is seeking an adaptable, experienced, and committed Secondary History Teacher. Position starts in January 2025 with an immediate start at Amnuay Silpa School, Bangkok.

The successful candidate will teach History across KS3 to IGCSE/A-Level, encouraging inquiry and critical thinking and inspiring an understanding of past events, cultures, and societies. The role involves developing analytical skills while fostering curiosity and engagement in historical study.

Responsibilities

• Teach History across KS3 to IGCSE/A-Level.
• Encourage inquiry and critical thinking and inspire students' understanding of history.
• Develop students' analytical skills and foster engagement in historical study.
• Maintain excellent classroom practice and work in partnership with the staff team.

• Part Time (period: February to the end of July 2026)

Qualifications

• Native English Speaker (required)
• Bachelor's Degree (required)
• Currently in Bangkok, Thailand (required)
• Some knowledge of the Cambridge GCSE/A-Level Curriculum (desirable)
• Minimum of one year’s teaching experience (desirable)
