Technology and Computer Science Teacher

International Christian School Nonthaburi (ICSN) is looking for a Technology and Computer Science teacher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and facilitate safe and meaningful learning experiences for students that promote respect for all.
• Teach grade-level subject matter to a diverse student population, following the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) standards.
• Submit timely unit plans and lesson plans for classes assigned within the semester.
• Employ a variety of formative and summative assessments that are purposeful and appropriate for the content and student population.
• Help students achieve learning objectives by providing constructive feedback based on assessments.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with students, parents, fellow staff, and other stakeholders to enhance student learning.
• Co-develop the technology curriculum with the Head of Technology and Technology Specialist.
• Co-facilitate the robotics teams with a team of robotics coaches.
• Coordinate with principals, division heads, and Head of Technology to ensure tasks are completed and evaluated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional degree in Computer Science, Computing, Information Technology, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Design Technology, or equivalent. Candidates with degrees in allied fields such as Mathematics, Engineering, and Science will also be considered.
• A master's degree is a plus.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience.
• Certifications are a plus (Google Certified Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator, Apple Teacher, etc.).
• Willingness to grow professionally and contribute to the team and school leadership.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Prior knowledge in computer programming and educational robotics is an advantage.
• Proficiency in software applications related to graphic design and web development.
• Can-do attitude, willingness to learn, team player, and result driven.
• Commitment to ensuring academic success for all students.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
