Teaching and Leadership Roles in Thailand

We are recruiting for three positions in schools in Thailand. Applicants based in Thailand are welcome to apply for the teaching positions. Overseas applicants are welcome to apply for the Head of School position. The Kindergarten and Secondary English positions are available for an immediate start. The Head of School position is expected to start in December 2026 or January 2027.

1. Kindergarten Teacher – Near Chong Nonsi BTS

The school is a short distance from Chong Nonsi BTS. Teachers deliver subjects in English, including English language, art, maths, cooking and science. Classes are approximately 30 minutes long, with around 5–15 students in each class. The school provides a caring and supportive working environment.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons
• Supporting students’ progress and wellbeing
• Completing regular student assessments

Job Summary

• Take-home salary: 45,000–50,000 THB per month, depending on experience and qualifications
• Location: A short distance from Chong Nonsi BTS
• Start date: Immediate
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:00
• 12-month contract
• Six weeks of paid holidays
• Free lunch
• Visa and work permit support for degree holders
• Optional tutoring worth approximately 5,000–15,000 THB per month

2. Secondary English Teacher – Nonthaburi

The school offers a stable, well-organised teaching environment with supportive staff. Curriculum, lesson plans, examinations and teaching materials are provided.

Job Summary

• Salary: 50,000–55,000 THB per month
• Location: Nonthaburi
• Start date: Immediate
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30–16:30
• Teaching level: M1–M6
• Full support with the Non-B visa and work permit
• Paid school holidays

3. Head of School – Western Thailand

A new international school offering a Finnish-inspired, child-centred curriculum is looking for an experienced Head of School. This is a full-time senior leadership position for someone who has experience setting up and leading an early years school. The successful applicant will lead curriculum design, support teachers in putting it into practice and oversee the school’s academic programme and daily operations. Applicants should understand Finnish pedagogy and play-based learning. Native English speakers and applicants from Nordic countries are welcome to apply for this role.

Job Summary

• Salary: 100,000 THB per month, with some flexibility for an exceptional candidate
• Housing provided
• Location: Western Thailand
• Start date: December 2026 or January 2027, with some flexibility
• Full-time leadership position
• Lead the school’s setup and development
• Design and develop the early years curriculum
• Lead and support the teaching team
• Oversee the academic programme and daily operations

Requirements

Requirements vary according to the position, but applicants should have:

• A bachelor’s degree
• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or another teaching qualification relevant to the position
• Relevant teaching experience
• Strong spoken and written English
• A professional and reliable approach
• For the Head of School position, experience setting up and leading an early years school, knowledge of Finnish pedagogy and play-based learning, and the ability to lead curriculum design
