About this position
SSU English Camp is hiring approximately 43 teachers for the 2026 Summer English Camp at Soongsil University in Seoul.
Qualifications
- Citizen of the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
- Currently holding a valid Korean visa: F2, F4, F5, F6, E1, E2, or C4
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four-year university in one of the seven countries listed above
Compensation Before Tax
- Pay Level A+
- Type 1: ₩ 4,510,000
- Type 2: ₩ 4,355,000
- Pay Level A
- Type 1: ₩ 4,310,000
- Type 2: ₩ 4,165,000
This includes basic pay, completion allowance, evaluation allowance, a 3-day training session participation allowance, and one level test participation allowance.

Schedule Options
Type 1
- Camp period: July 24 to August 19, 2026 (20 days)
- No class on August 17
- Work hours: 8:50 AM to 5:20 PM, Monday to Friday
- Mandatory training: July 15, 16, and 22
- Level test: June 13, 14, 20, or 21 (choose one date)
- Note: Two Saturdays, July 25 and August 1, are regular workdays.
Type 2
- Camp period: July 24 to August 17, 2026 (19 days)
- Work hours: 8:50 AM to 5:20 PM, Monday to Friday
- Mandatory training: July 15, 16, and 22
- Level test: June 13, 14, 20, or 21 (choose one date)
- Note: Two Saturdays, July 25 and August 1, are regular workdays.
