Specialist Classroom Music Teacher

Australian International School Bangkok is seeking a dedicated full-time Specialist Classroom Music Teacher. This role involves teaching classroom music lessons, directing choirs, and preparing for performances in collaboration with three other full-time music teachers.

Responsibilities

• Teaching music classes across AISB campuses as needed.
• Collaborating with the Primary to Year 7 Music Teacher to prepare and submit lesson plans for each class in advance of each term to the Head of Campus or their delegate.
• Providing timely assessments and reports on student progress in music classes to the Head of Campus each term.
• Promoting and delivering After School Activities for private lessons and Choir classes each term and during Summer School.
• Supporting the promotion of Choir, Singing, Piano, and Performing Arts programs at AISB, leading various choirs, and assisting with voice training for Secondary students.
• Working with the Performance Committee on school productions, performances, and recitals for special events during assemblies and external events.
• Developing promotional campaigns for Music and Performing Arts in consultation with the Head of Primary and other relevant teachers, planning for current and future school years.
• Contributing to the marketing and promotion of school music, choir classes, and musical events through social media platforms such as Facebook, the school website, and Instagram by providing lesson content, video clips, and photos with captions to the Head of Primary.
