SAMA Educational Company is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Green Unit, a specialized program designed to support students with additional learning needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an inclusive, structured, and nurturing learning environment that supports each student’s academic, social, and emotional development.
Locations: Kuwait | Bahrain | Oman
Salary and Benefits
- Start Date: August 2026
- Salary: $2,500 – $3,500 USD per month, tax-free
- Airfare: Annual airfare for teacher and 2 dependents
- Accommodation: Private furnished 1-bedroom apartment + utilities
- Vacation: National and school holidays
- Health Insurance: Provided
- Settling-in Allowance: Provided
- Education Allowance: Tuition covered for up to two children
- PD Allowance: Provided
- Bonus: End-of-contract bonus
- Contract Length: 2 years

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and support tailored to students with special educational needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records
- Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and school leadership
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Implement behavior management strategies and intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development
- Supervise students during school activities, transitions, and breaks
- Follow school policies and maintain professional standards at all times
- Promote inclusion, respect, and student well-being
- Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Valid teaching license (Special Education preferred)
- Experience working with children with special needs (preferred)
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive practices
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
