SAMA Educational Company is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Green Unit, a specialized program designed to support students with additional learning needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an inclusive, structured, and nurturing learning environment that supports each student’s academic, social, and emotional development.

Locations: Kuwait | Bahrain | Oman

Salary and Benefits

  • Start Date: August 2026
  • Salary: $2,500 – $3,500 USD per month, tax-free
  • Airfare: Annual airfare for teacher and 2 dependents
  • Accommodation: Private furnished 1-bedroom apartment + utilities
  • Vacation: National and school holidays
  • Health Insurance: Provided
  • Settling-in Allowance: Provided
  • Education Allowance: Tuition covered for up to two children
  • PD Allowance: Provided
  • Bonus: End-of-contract bonus
  • Contract Length: 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized instruction and support tailored to students with special educational needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and school leadership
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Implement behavior management strategies and intervention plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development
  • Supervise students during school activities, transitions, and breaks
  • Follow school policies and maintain professional standards at all times
  • Promote inclusion, respect, and student well-being
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Valid teaching license (Special Education preferred)
  • Experience working with children with special needs (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive practices
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
