Soongsil University Winter Camp Teachers
About this position
Soongsil University in Seoul is hiring about 40 teachers for the 2026 Winter English Camp.
Qualifications
- Citizen of one of the following countries: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
- Currently holding a valid Korean visa: F2, F4, F5, F6, E1, E2, or C4
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four-year university in one of the seven countries listed above
- Note: C-4 visa holders must arrive in Korea by December 26 (Sat.)
Compensation (Before Tax)
- Pay Level A+
- Type 1 (Camp A + B): ￦4,830,000
- Type 2 (Camp A only): ￦3,480,000
- Pay Level A
- Type 1 (Camp A + B): ￦4,630,000
- Type 2 (Camp A only): ￦3,340,000
The compensation includes basic pay, completion allowance, evaluation allowance, training session participation allowance, and one level test participation allowance. For more information about the pay level, please contact us.
Schedule Options
- Type 1 (Camp A + B)
- Camp A: January 7th to January 23rd, 2027 (14 days)
- Camp B: February 15th to February 20th, 2027 (6 days)
- Total: 20 working days
- Type 2 (Camp A only)
- Camp A: January 7th to January 23rd, 2027 (14 working days)
- Work hours: 8:50 AM to 5:20 PM (Mon–Fri)
- Mandatory training:
- Type 1: December 29th and 30th, 2026, and January 4th, 2027 for Camp A; February 12th, 2027 for Camp B
- Type 2: December 29th and 30th, 2026, and January 4th, 2027
- Training schedules are subject to change
- Level test (choose one date): November 14th, 15th, 21st, or 22nd
- Level test schedules are subject to change
- January 9th (Sat.), January 23rd (Sat.), and February 20th (Sat.) are regular workdays due to the camp schedule
