Social Studies Teacher, Bangkok

Learn Satit Pattana School (LSP) in Bangkok is seeking a full-time Social Studies Teacher for the International School Program (ISP). The position begins in May 2026 and offers a competitive salary package starting at ฿60,000 per month, with annual salary increases and a contract completion bonus. Health insurance and work visa sponsorship are provided.

The successful candidate will teach Grade 9-10 students, with a focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Model United Nations (MUN), and World History. There are opportunities to teach Advanced Placement (AP) courses such as AP Psychology and AP Macroeconomics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Grade 9-10 students
• Develop curriculum aligned with Thai and US standards
• Foster students' understanding of historical and social contexts
• Support and participate in extracurricular activities such as MUN and debate clubs
• Teach AP courses when assigned (e.g., AP Psychology, AP Macroeconomics)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, History, Political Science, Economics, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience
• Teaching license from Kurusapa preferred
• Native English speaker preferred, with experience in AP courses
• Strong communication and organizational skills
