Short-Term University Lecturer & Developer

Australian Higher Education Network (AHEN) integrates and optimizes Chinese and foreign higher education resources to build a platform for education and cultural exchanges between Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and the rest of the world. Since its inception, AHEN has promoted multi-level, multi-type, and multi-field bilateral exchanges and cooperation in higher education. AHEN has run and managed several Sino-foreign programs with Chinese public universities across several Chinese cities since 1999. Students complete the first two years of study in China, then study abroad for two years and obtain diplomas from both institutions.

We are recruiting qualified professionals for short-term teaching and curriculum development roles beginning in March 2026.

We are seeking experienced university instructors to deliver intensive courses in the following areas:

• Hospitality Management
• Accounting
• Financial Management
• IELTS Speaking (Online)

• Bachelor degree or higher with a related educational background
• Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience (university level or equivalent)
• Native English speakers from USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland

• Duration: 1–2 weeks per course (flexible scheduling)
• Delivery Mode: Hybrid (some courses online, others on-site in China)
• Primary on-site location: Guangzhou, China
• Student Profile: University students (aged 18–20) with pre-intermediate English proficiency
• Teaching Language: English
• On-site Support: Round-trip airfare and hotel provided

We are also seeking experienced curriculum developers to design and develop university-level courses in the following areas:

• Introduction to Computer Systems
• Advanced Data Literacy
• Principles of Macroeconomics
• Introduction to Healthcare
• Mastering Generative AI for Academic Success
• Introduction to Engineering Design and Innovation
• Introduction to Programming
• Academic Writing for Business

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline (PhD preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in higher education teaching and/or curriculum development
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent written communication skills

Competitive remuneration, negotiable based on qualifications and experience. On-site support includes round-trip airfare and hotel where applicable.
