We are looking for a Secondary Science Teacher with strong science knowledge, good digital literacy, and a willingness to learn and use educational apps, digital platforms, and school systems.
About the Opportunity
- The position will initially involve approximately 13 teaching hours per week for Semester 2 of the 2026-2027 academic year, with a planned increase to approximately 17 teaching hours per week in Term 1 of the 2027-28 academic year.
- Contract: Until March 2027 (renewable upon mutual agreement)
- Start Date: Early September 2026
- Work Location: Secondary Department, Kajonkietsuksa School, Phuket, Thailand
Essential Qualifications
- Must be a Native English Speaker, or a native-level speaker from a country where English is the primary language of communication and instruction.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is the minimum requirement under the regulations set by the Thai Ministry of Education.
- A degree or teaching qualification specifically in Sciences, Secondary Education, or a PGCE/PGDE is highly preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Middle School or High School students is strongly recommended and will be given priority.

Responsibilities
- Teach Lower Secondary Science and M4 Chemistry.
- Create and/or adapt lesson plans, course outlines, and schemes of work.
- Create, adapt, grade, and provide feedback on summative assessments.
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support student progress.
- Use technology effectively for teaching, learning, planning, assessment, and communication.
- Contribute positively to the Secondary Department and the wider school community.

- Compensation: 40,000-60,000 THB/month (salary is determined by qualifications, experience, and teaching assignments)
