Secondary Science Teacher Phuket

Kajonkietsuksa School in Phuket is seeking a dedicated Native English Speaking Secondary Science Teacher to join our vibrant community. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to teach and live in the beautiful surroundings of Phuket, Thailand.

Position Overview

• Teach Lower Secondary Science and M4 Chemistry.
• Initially, approximately 13 teaching hours per week are required during the second semester of the 2026-2027 academic year, with an increase to about 17 hours per week in Term 1 of the 2027-28 academic year.
• The contract runs until March 2027, with the potential for renewal by mutual agreement.
• The role begins in early September 2026 at our Secondary Department in Phuket.

Qualifications

• Native English Speaker or equivalent proficiency.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, as required by the Thai Ministry of Education.
• A degree or teaching qualification in Sciences, Secondary Education, or PGCE/PGDE is preferred.
• Prior experience teaching Middle School or High School students is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and assessments.
• Utilize technology effectively in teaching and communication.
• Contribute actively to the school community.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary between 40,000-60,000 THB per month, dependent on qualifications and experience.
