Secondary Science Teacher

International Christian School Nonthaburi is seeking a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join our team in Nonthaburi, Thailand. This full-time role involves teaching Advanced Placement (AP) courses, including AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics, in our Secondary Science department. The successful candidate will adhere to our curricular standards and create a nurturing learning environment grounded in Christian values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Chapel or Social Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons.
• Supervise students in various settings.
• Participate actively in departmental and school-wide meetings.
• Collaborate on school improvement projects.
• Maintain communication with parents, colleagues, and administration.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science education or a related field.
• Familiarity with the Next-Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and best practices in science instruction for secondary students.
• Preferably experienced in teaching AP Science courses with a strong understanding of scientific principles.
• Valid teaching license preferred.
• Experience with older children in a classroom setting.
• Commitment to Christian faith and personal growth in the relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Native English speaker.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting annual salary ranges from approximately ฿530,000 to ฿1,000,000+, with adjustments based on qualifications and experience.
