Secondary Science Bible and JROTC Teachers

We are now hiring full-time, on-site roles for the 2026-2027 school year at Christian American School of Guatemala, located in Guatemala City, San Cristobal. We are hiring 6th-12th grade Science, Bible, and JROTC teachers. As a CAS teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a developmentally appropriate instructional program in a Christian-based educational environment. You will also need to supervise students' activities in the classroom and on the playground, prepare materials and supplies for daily activities, and communicate with parents about their child's progress.

Qualifications

• Passionate about teaching young children
• Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment
• Native English speaker
• Teaching certification or licensure (preferred)
• Experience using classroom technology (preferred)
• Clear, slow speech with high-frequency words
• Consistent routines with simple phrases
• Non-verbal comprehension checks
• Positive non-verbal climate
