About this position
Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University (SBS), Bangkok, is seeking a highly competent, experienced, and professionally qualified Mathematics teacher to join our international secondary team. Start date: 5th May 2026. Salary: Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A Level, in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum and Thai MoE requirements.
- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that promote conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and exam readiness.
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching resources, and assessments; maintain accurate academic records on the school’s administrative systems.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including EAL students.
- Assess student attainment, monitor progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for external examinations through targeted practice, revision strategies, and formative assessment.
- Establish clear classroom expectations and maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and academic concerns.
- Plan and deliver intervention or enrichment programmes as required.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and whole-school events.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as maths clubs, competitions, or academic challenges.
- Undertake additional professional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field.
- Recognised professional teaching qualification, licence, or certification.
- A Master’s degree is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification teaching experience in a structured school environment.
- Proven experience teaching IGCSE, AS, and A Level Mathematics (or strong evidence of readiness to teach at this level).
- Experience with Cambridge International programmes is highly desirable.
- Experience in an international school environment and working with EAL learners is an advantage.

- Fluent English speaker (minimum C1 level).
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
