Secondary Mathematics Teacher IGCSE A Level

About the Role

Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University (SBS), Bangkok, is seeking a highly competent, experienced, and professionally certified Mathematics Teacher to join its international secondary teaching team. The successful candidate will be able to teach Mathematics across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A Level Mathematics. This role is ideal for a committed subject specialist with a strong mathematical foundation, excellent classroom practice, and a passion for supporting students' academic growth and confidence in Mathematics.

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience

Responsibilities

• Teaching Mathematics to secondary and higher secondary students in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Level) and Thai MoE requirements.
• Planning and delivering well-structured, engaging lessons that promote conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and exam readiness.
• Preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching resources, and assessments, and maintaining accurate academic records on the school's administrative systems.
• Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including EAL students.
• Assessing student attainment, monitoring progress, and providing timely, constructive feedback.
• Preparing students effectively for external examinations through targeted practice, revision strategies, and formative assessment.
• Establishing clear classroom expectations and maintaining a positive, well-managed learning environment.
• Communicating effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and academic concerns.
• Planning and delivering intervention or enrichment programmes as required.
• Participating in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and whole-school events.
• Contributing to extracurricular activities such as Maths clubs, competitions, or academic challenges.
• Undertaking additional professional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics / Education / Engineering / a related field
• Recognised professional teaching qualification / licence / certification
• A Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification teaching experience in a structured school environment
• Proven experience teaching IGCSE, AS, and A Level Mathematics (or strong evidence of readiness to teach at this level)
• Experience with Cambridge International Education programmes is highly desirable
• Experience teaching in an international school environment and working with EAL learners is an advantage

• Fluent English speaker (minimum C1 level)
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
