Secondary Mathematics Teacher

China International School in Bangkok is looking for a dedicated and experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher to teach mathematics using the British curriculum in an international Chinese school setting in Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging mathematics lessons.
• Integrate Academic English and differentiate instruction for students with varying levels of English proficiency.
• Design and administer assessments, monitor student progress, and provide feedback.
• Explicitly teach mathematical vocabulary and support students in mathematical discussions and written responses.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment, participate in school events, and collaborate with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Recognized teaching qualification, such as PGCE or QTS.
• Experience in a British curriculum environment and working with EAL/ESL learners is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Commitment to student wellbeing.
