Secondary History Teacher in Yangon

Asia Language and British Alma (ALBA International School) is seeking an enthusiastic History teacher for our Secondary School in Yangon, Myanmar, with a May start date. An immediate part-time start is also available.

Job Details

• Secondary position for Years 7-9 History
• Work hours: 8:15 am-3:45 pm, Monday to Friday
• Contract period: 15th May 2026 - 15th March 2027
• Early summer school positions are also possible
• Maximum of 25-30 contact hours per week

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• A bachelor’s degree in any field of study (preferably Education)
• A TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certificate
• Two years of teaching experience (those with less experience can still apply)
• Must be a passport holder of one of the following countries: UK, USA, Canada, S. Africa, Australia, or New Zealand
