Secondary English Teacher

Norwich International School, located in Samut Sakhon, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join our vibrant international school community immediately or as soon as possible.

We offer a competitive salary of 90,000 Baht per month.

Requirements

• Native-level English speaker
• Recognized teaching qualification and relevant experience in teaching English at the secondary level
• Familiarity with the UK curriculum, particularly IGCSE, A Level, or IB Diploma Programme, is highly advantageous
• Ability to adapt lessons for students with varied abilities and educational backgrounds
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Experience with international school environments, UK examination boards, and working with students who speak English as an additional language will be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to different secondary age groups
• Prepare students for external exams such as IGCSE, A Level, and IB Diploma assessments
• Foster students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical-thinking skills
• Use a variety of effective teaching, learning, and assessment methods to monitor and support student progress
• Keep accurate records of lesson plans, assessments, and student achievements
• Participate in the school's academic, pastoral, and co-curricular activities
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues while upholding the school's values and safeguarding policies
