Secondary English Teacher in Pattaya

Phoenix Wittaya School is looking for a secondary-level English homeroom teacher. The school is expanding and is specifically looking for teachers with experience teaching either IELTS or GED.

Requirements

• You must be a native English speaker (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand)
• You must have a real university degree
• At least 2+ years teaching experience in Thailand
• Strong preference will be given to teachers who are properly qualified with either a degree in education, PGCE, or a postgraduate diploma in education
• The candidate should be passionate, energetic, creative, and responsible, with a caring attitude toward children

Basic Job Description

• Facilitate teaching and learning
• Teach English, with a focus on IEP and GED, grammar, science, and social studies
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:40 - 16:00

Benefits

• Up to 60,000 THB for qualified teachers (degree in education or degree plus a postgraduate certificate in education); less if unqualified, but not less than 50,000 THB
• The school provides accident insurance free of charge, which covers up to 10,000 THB
• A 50/50 option for health insurance
• Approximately 7 weeks of paid vacation, allocated at various times of the year upon passing probation
• Free lunch at the school (Thai food)
• Education of the teacher's children (up to 2 children) will be provided free of charge at the school. This benefit covers only the admission and tuition fee.
• Visa and work permit fees will be reimbursed upon completion of the contract by the school, with assistance on the visa paperwork
