About the role

• Location: Schools primarily located in Hanoi, Vietnam (travel allowances for schools more than 9 km from the city center).
• Job type: Full-time.
• Start date: Courses begin in September 2026 and run through May 2027.
• Class sizes: Typically 25–30 students; larger classes receive additional allowances.
• Compensation: Up to 730,000 VND gross per hour depending on qualifications and teaching experience, with additional allowances for travel and larger classes.

Qualifications

Essential requirements:

• EFL teaching certification: CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience; secondary teaching experience is highly preferred.
• Cultural awareness: Ability to adapt and work effectively in a Vietnamese state-school environment.
• Clean criminal record: Required as part of safeguarding procedures.

Desirable qualifications:

• Higher-level qualifications: Delta, DipTESOL, or a relevant Master’s degree with practical teaching components.
• Experience teaching in Vietnamese state schools: An advantage.
