Secondary Business English and IELTS Teacher
About this position
The Newton Sixth Form in Bangkok is seeking dedicated English teachers for secondary school positions. These full-time roles are available due to the school's expansion and the internal advancement of current staff. Established in 2019, the school is centrally located just a short walk from Siam BTS. It offers a diverse curriculum focusing on IGCSE, IAL (International A-Level), and BTEC programs under Pearson Edexcel, with a teaching team made up of both international and Thai educators with native-level English proficiency. We are recruiting for the upcoming academic year starting in August 2026, with an ideal start date of August 1, 2026.
Position Details
English Teacher for Business English and IELTS (Years 11-13) in our Business School. A background in business and/or economics will be an advantage.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. A teaching qualification such as TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least one year of classroom teaching experience for the relevant age group and subject.
- Familiarity with Pearson IGCSE and BTEC programs is beneficial but not essential.
- Preference will be given to native English speakers, especially those already residing in Thailand, and to Thai nationals with native-level English proficiency.
Benefits
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30, including a lunch break from 11:00-12:00.
- Starting salary is from 50,000 THB per month, subject to review after a 119-day probation period.
