Science Teacher for Grades 1 to 6

We are looking for a native English-speaking teacher to teach Science to grades 1 to 6. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

• Salary: 50,000 THB per month
• Start date: 20 May 2026
• Job type: Full-time (maximum 18 hours per week)
• Contract duration: 1 year, with consideration for extension depending on evaluation
• Workplace: Elementary department, The Demonstration School of Silpakorn University, Nakhon Pathom Province, Thailand

• A 3- to 5-minute teaching demo clip teaching Science for G.1 to 6 level (choose one grade)

Applicants' quality requirements:

• Native English speaker
• Bachelor degree or higher (an education-related degree will be a plus)
• Basic knowledge of elementary students' development
• Basic knowledge of elementary education
• Ability to build and maintain good relationships with students, parents, and coworkers
• Working flexibility
• 1 to 3 years of teaching experience will be a plus

Responsibilities

• 18 teaching hours per week (Science and club)
• Organise students during morning homeroom, break, and lunch time
• Make observations and evaluations for students' development
• Orientation sessions twice a year
• Make notes after teaching
• Participate in meetings and training
• Participate in school activities
• Perform other assigned responsibilities

Please note that any applicant who is successful in securing a role within the school will need to leave the country and re-enter with a Non-Immigrant Type B (Teaching in Thailand) if currently living in Thailand, or apply for a visa before travelling here if currently based outside of Thailand. For the Non-B visa, teachers have to cover the cost of the visa process, while the school can support you with the documents. The school will cover the cost of a 1-year work permit (3,100 baht).
