Science Teacher for English Program
About this position
This high school in Phetchaburi Province, Thailand serves students from Grade 7 to Grade 12. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher who loves working with children and teens. We are seeking a Science Teacher who can teach English and help strengthen our foreign teachers' team. The science curriculum is taught in English following the Thai Basic Education Core Curriculum.
Qualifications
- Male or female, 28-45 years of age
- Native speakers
- Nationality: US, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or Canada (European NNES applicants are also welcome)
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or science education
- Experience teaching or working with young children
- Fluent or native-level English communication skills to teach science concepts, lab safety, and procedures in an English Program
- Ability to safely set up, demonstrate, and guide students through hands-on laboratory experiments and inquiry-based learning
- Ability to teach English and help students improve confidence and real-life communication
- Ability to join activities with the English program that may be held outside school on weekends
- Energetic, fun, and student-focused
- Creative, adaptable, and a team player
- Ability to start in October to November 2026
