Science Teacher

Urgent! Lertlah School, Phetkasem Bkk is seeking a 7th-9th Grade Science Teacher for an immediate start. Kindergarten and primary NES teachers are also needed for future openings.

Lertlah School is looking for energetic and experienced teachers to join our team. We are seeking kindergarten and primary teachers with native English-speaking fluency who are team players and ready for an exciting opportunity.

Pay is commensurate with education and experience; 40,000/month is the minimum income.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate and plan exciting and engaging lessons that are age- and skill-appropriate
• Plan lessons and assessments according to curriculum outcomes
• Set goals with students and work toward these goals
• Instruct students using a variety of resources and activities
• Assess performance formally and informally in a timely manner
• Keep an organized and orderly classroom that promotes creativity, respect, and learning; use culturally and age-appropriate classroom management techniques
• Develop instructional materials beyond textbooks for classroom use
• Be active in the school community and events
• Follow and promote administration and school-wide policies

Teacher Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, teaching, or a related field preferred; bachelor’s degree is required
• Experience working with young children
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Patient and compassionate toward young children’s needs and emotions
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Efficient time management
• Ability to take on many tasks at once and prioritize them
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general teaching technology
