About this position

Learn Satit Pattana Primary School (LSP) is seeking Native English-Speaking (NES) Primary English Teachers to join our team from May 2026. We are expanding our teaching team and are looking for dedicated, caring educators with experience or a strong interest in supporting EAL learners with learning gaps and additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, well-resourced school community that values inclusion, collaboration, and professional growth. Please note we are not in central Bangkok, so living locally would be an advantage.

The Role
  • Teach Grade 3–6 students using the Cambridge Global English curriculum, focusing on building early literacy skills and supporting learners who require differentiation and intervention.
  • Differentiate lessons effectively for a wide range of learners.
  • Create resources for non-readers and struggling learners.
  • Support students through targeted interventions.
  • Foster a calm, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
  • Use simple assessments to identify learning gaps and track progress.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in an education-related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching Primary English, especially learners with low English proficiency (EAL).
  • Strong understanding of early literacy (phonics, reading, basic writing).
  • Patient, caring, and supportive teaching style with strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs, including SEN.
  • Eligible to apply for (or already hold) a Thai teaching licence.
  • Police clearance from home country, prior to teaching.
Desirable
  • Experience working with SEN students or in a learning support setting.
  • Knowledge of EAL strategies such as scaffolding, visual supports, and multisensory learning.
  • Experience collaborating with learning support teams or teaching assistants.
  • Experience with reading schemes and online learning programmes is an advantage.
  • Experience with the Cambridge Curriculum is beneficial but not essential.

Workload & School Information
  • The school day consists of 8 lessons and a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Each teacher teaches 24 lessons of 50 minutes per week plus two cover lessons.
  • Learn Satit Pattana (LSP) is located in Klong Sam Wa, behind Safari World, approximately 30 km from central Bangkok. Many teachers choose to live near Fashion Island, a 15–20 minute drive from the school.
  • The school has over 2,000 students across Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary levels, with nearly 50% of lessons delivered in English.
