About this position
Saint Dominic School, a distinguished Catholic (Salesian) institution located in central Bangkok, is seeking a qualified Primary Mathematics and English Teacher for immediate employment. We serve over 1,300 students from Grades 1 to 12 and are committed to high academic standards and a structured learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and English at the primary level.
- Create engaging and well-structured lessons that align with the established curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials.
- Adapt instruction for varying student abilities.
- Monitor student progress, grade work, and maintain accurate records.
- Support literacy and numeracy development.
- Contribute positively to departmental and school activities.
Qualifications
This position is exclusively for Native English Speakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. - At least a bachelor’s degree.
- Preferably experience teaching Mathematics and English at the primary level.
- Familiarity with phonics, literacy development, and numeracy skills is an advantage.
- Strong classroom management skills, professional reliability, cultural awareness, and a commitment to a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Desirable qualifications include PGCE, PGCEi, BEd, MEd, CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent certifications.
- Exceptional candidates with a Master’s in Education and a recognized teaching license may qualify for a higher salary.
Contract and Benefits
- 12-month renewable contract.
- Monthly salary of 40,000 to 50,000 THB, depending on qualifications and experience.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:40 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., with approximately 20 teaching periods per week in air-conditioned classrooms.
