Primary Learning and Behaviour Support Specialist
About this position
Windfield International School Samui is looking for a dedicated and caring Primary Learning and Behaviour Support Specialist to support students with learning, behavioural, emotional, and social needs. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, Teaching Assistants (TAs), and the School Psychologist to provide effective learning support, positive behaviour strategies, and practical classroom support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide learning and classroom support to primary students.
- Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Develop and monitor individual learning support and behaviour plans.
- Work closely with teachers and TAs to implement effective support strategies.
- Monitor student progress and provide practical guidance to staff.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Learning Support, SEN, Education, Inclusion, Behaviour Support, or a related field.
- Experience working with primary-aged children.
- Experience supporting student behaviour in a school setting.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and supportive approach when working with students.
