About this position
TeachinThailand is seeking a female native English-speaking homeroom teacher for the Early Primary Years (students age 6-11) at an international school in Bangkok, Thailand. This position starts on 20th July, 2026. School details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
ResponsibilitiesAs a teacher you will play a crucial role in nurturing students' academic growth and overall well-being. You will be responsible for teaching various subjects under an international curriculum and delivering engaging lessons that develop core literacy skills.
Requirements- Female native English speaker from the UK, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, or the US (South African applicants must score 950+ in the TOEIC test).
- Bachelor's degree in any field (degree and transcripts must be on hand, notarized, and legalized prior to the start of the job).
- Classroom teaching experience in Thailand is beneficial.
- References from previous employers.
- Respect for Thai culture and values.
- Confident in teaching grammar, phonics, and reading to primary-year students.
- Initial Zoom interview – shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview with the recruitment team.
- Reference check – we will verify references with current and past employers.
- Face-to-face interview & demo class – candidates who pass the initial interview will be invited to the school for an in-person interview and a 45-minute demo class; a lesson plan must be submitted before the visit. Document verification will also take place at this stage.
- Applicants currently residing abroad will have an online demo class.
- Contract signing & relocation – selected candidates will sign a contract and prepare for relocation near the school.
- First contract ends on 19th July, 2027; second contract can be renewed for one year thereafter.
- Paid holidays, national holidays, and paid preparation days.
- Secure temporary teacher's license.
- Registration with the Revenue Department.
- Insurance coverage.
- Non-B visa and work permit paid for and arranged by the school.
- Salary: Starting gross salary of THB 50,000.
- Monday to Friday work week.
