About this position
Mr. Tim's Learning Land in Bangkok is currently seeking Phonics and Reading Comprehension Teachers for both full-time and part-time positions at our Minburi and Srinakarin branches.
Learning Land School of Phonics, established in 2006, is a modern language school offering high-quality synthetic phonics programs from the UK. Our programs are designed to improve Thai and international school children's pronunciation, reading, and writing skills.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated teachers who will be trained in synthetic phonics teaching and the National Curriculum for England under the guidance of qualified UK Primary Teachers.
Position Details
- Full-time: Available immediately; teaching from Thursday to Sunday; base salary of 45,000 THB per month.
- Part-time: Teaching on Saturdays or Sundays; starting salary of 4,000 THB per day for four classes.
- Working hours: Typically 1:00 to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends.
- Summer School Programme: Full-time teachers are also expected to participate, with additional compensation provided.
Requirements
- Native English speaker from the UK, Ireland, USA, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
- Valid university degree.
- At least one year of teaching experience with primary-aged children.
- Clean Criminal Records Check from your home country.
- Passionate about teaching, with a commitment to professionalism and excellence.
- Willingness to integrate ICT in the classroom, with access to large touch screens or IWBs.
