About this position

Saint Dominic School in Bangkok is seeking a temporary part-time Secondary English Teacher to join our team. The position is open to Filipino nationals and will commence on 20 July 2026.

Located in Central Bangkok, Makkasan, our school is easily accessible from MRT Phetchaburi. We are a Catholic institution rooted in the Salesian tradition.

Position Available

  • Secondary English Teacher for M.1–M.3 levels
  • Temporary part-time position from 20 July 2026 until early August 2026, with a possible extension to mid-August

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English or Education with a major in English or Secondary English Education is preferred.
  • Applicants must be Filipino nationals, aged between 25 and 45, and currently residing in Thailand.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant teaching experience in Thailand and at the secondary level is required.
  • Proficiency in spoken English suitable for teaching conversational English.
  • Ability to start teaching on 20 July 2026.
  • Professionalism in maintaining class discipline and following the school’s curriculum and procedures.

Compensation

  • 400 THB per 50-minute teaching period.
  • Payment is only for periods actually taught, with no pay during public holidays.
  • No classes between 27–29 July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach English to M.1–M.3 students.
  • Prepare and deliver lesson plans and academic materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Provide constructive feedback and create a disciplined classroom environment.

Working Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 07:40–16:45.
  • Approximately 20 teaching periods per week.
