Part-time English Instructor

British Council Thailand, based in Bangkok, is seeking hourly paid instructors of English to join our team starting in mid-May 2026. This part-time, fixed-term one-year renewable contract offers starting pay of at least ฿631 per hour, with potential increases based on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach students and support their learning progress
• Monitor and evaluate course development and learner performance
• Participate in professional development and performance management
• Contribute to the broader goals of the British Council

Positions are available on weekends at our teaching centers and on weekdays at partner schools, involving teaching children.

Qualifications

• First degree and CELTA or equivalent
• Experience teaching young learners
• Desirable experience with Thai learners
• CEFR C2 level of English proficiency required for non-native English speakers
