Part-time English Instructor

British Council Thailand is seeking Hourly Paid Instructors of English to join our team in Bangkok, starting mid-May 2026. This is a part-time, fixed-term (1-year, renewable) role teaching children in our centres on weekends and in partner schools on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Teach English to children at British Council centres and partner schools
• Monitor and support student progress
• Contribute to course evaluation and development
• Participate in professional development activities
• Support the broader objectives of the British Council

Qualifications

• First degree
• CELTA or equivalent
• Some experience teaching young learners
• Experience with Thai learners is advantageous
• Both native and non-native speakers are welcome; non-native speakers must demonstrate CEFR C2 level of English proficiency

Pay starts at 946.50 THB per hour and may increase based on qualifications. This position is hourly and part-time.
