Online Phonics English Teacher

VTalkLine English is looking for experienced and enthusiastic online English phonics teachers (ESL for young children) to teach Chinese children aged 4–10.

Main Responsibilities

• Teach online English Phonics / Natural Phonics / Reading courses to Chinese children aged 4–10.
• Help students develop:
• Letter sounds and phonemic awareness
• Blending and decoding skills
• Pronunciation and reading fluency
• Basic speaking and vocabulary skills
• Create a fun, interactive, and encouraging classroom environment.
• Use games, pictures, stories, gestures, and other activities to keep young learners engaged.

Requirements

• Native English pronunciation with a natural American or British accent.
• At least 3 years of English teaching experience, preferably with young learners.
• Experience teaching Phonics, early reading, or ESL/EFL is strongly preferred.
• Energetic, patient, friendly, and highly interactive teaching style.
• Able to engage young children and make lessons lively and enjoyable.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• TEFL / TESOL / CELTA or an equivalent teaching certificate is preferred.

Working Hours

• Teaching hours are mainly between 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM Beijing Time (GMT+8).
• Weekend availability is highly preferred.
• Teachers should be able to provide at least 12 available teaching hours per week.
• Long-term cooperation is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in teachers who enjoy working with young children and can make Phonics lessons fun, energetic, and engaging, rather than simply teaching from a textbook.
