Online Part Time English Teacher

GLOW Lingual is currently hiring native English-speaking teachers from the United States and Canada to join our growing online team, with the ability to work remotely and earn up to $18/hour. GLOW Lingual Co., Ltd is an innovative online English language tutoring school for students ages 3-18. Designed by a team of educators, our learning places strong emphasis on holistic English development through active learning and a fun, engaging class environment.

Position Details

• Position Title: Remote Part-time Online English Teacher
• Location: Online / Work from Home
• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract Type: Independent Contractor
• Contract Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons tailored to individual needs
• Use a variety of teaching tools, props, and techniques to enhance learning
• Provide constructive feedback to support student progress
• Monitor and assess student development, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with team members to develop creative teaching materials

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen
• Bachelor’s degree
• TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of ESL teaching experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with online teaching platforms

Teaching Environment Requirements

• Stable high-speed internet connection
• Computer or laptop with camera
• Headset with microphone
• Bright lighting
• Quiet, distraction-free environment
• Clean and professional background
• Teacher should prepare some teaching props, flash cards, dolls, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive pay rate starting at $14-18/hour (Rate: $7-9 USD per class 25 minutes); final rate will be determined based on expertise, qualifications, background, etc.
