About Lingostar

Founded in Singapore, Lingostar is an innovative online platform that offers high-quality one-on-one live classes to students around the world. It works with qualified native English teachers from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Lingostar uses curricula designed by professional teaching and research teams and uses Oxford Thinker for its teaching materials.

The curriculum is aimed at students aged 5-13. Its mission is to encourage students to explore and pursue their interests, and to improve academic performance through an inspiring and engaging learning experience. Classes are taught using Classpod so that teachers and students can interact with each other.

As a start-up company, Lingostar offers strong benefits to teachers. Those accepted in the first batch of teachers will be considered founding teachers and will have more opportunities for promotion.

Job Description

• Students age: 5-6
• Available time slots: Anytime
• Teaching materials and lesson plans are provided
• Group size: 1 to 1

Requirements

• Native English speakers from the USA, Canada, or the United Kingdom
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Peak hours are Singapore Time on weekdays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on weekends all day
• Available to teach a minimum of 10 hours during these hours
• 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or similar teacher certification
• 1+ year of teaching experience on VK, Whales, Magic Ear, or another online teaching platform is preferred
• Stable internet connection and an Intel Core i5 8th generation or above CPU Windows computer
