About the role:

• Teachers with experience teaching Reach Higher and Reading Explorer are preferred.
• Complete scheduled classes by following the provided lesson material and teaching guide.
• Available class sizes: group lessons from 6-12 students.
• Class length: 60 minutes including a 10-minute paid break, for a total of 70 minutes per class; twice a week for one student.
• Student age group: young learners aged 6-12.

Work schedule: Applicants must be able to commit to teaching at least 4 full reading classes per week during prime learning hours. Each reading class consists of a 60-minute lesson plus a 10-minute paid break, for a total scheduled time of 70 minutes per class. Classes are conducted twice weekly with the same students.

The peak teaching period starts from late June to September. We are looking for teachers who can start teaching immediately.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above. We also accept senior college students who are expected to complete their degrees within 6 months.
• Must hold TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or a valid state or provincial teaching license.

Requirements:

• Wired, high-speed, and stable internet connection, a functional computer (not a tablet), and a headset are required.
• Punctual, responsible, with strong communication skills and a positive, easy-going personality.
• Demonstrated respect for family values, cultural differences, and parent expectations.
• Previous teaching experience in a K-12 or ESL setting is preferred.
• Teachers must successfully demonstrate effective ESL reading instruction skills during the training process in order to be assigned to this specific reading course.

Work schedule: The times below are all in Beijing Time (GMT+8), and availability within these times is required.

• Mon-Fri: Between 6 pm-9 pm
• Sat-Sun: Between 8:30 am-11 am; 2 pm-9 pm

Candidates must be able to commit to teaching at least 4 full reading classes per week during prime learning hours. Each class consists of a 60-minute lesson followed by a 10-minute paid break, requiring a continuous 70-minute availability block per class. For example, teachers should consistently open the same recurring time slot, such as 6:00 PM-7:10 PM, twice weekly for the same student.
