Position Details

• Start date: Immediately upon completion of the recruitment process.
• Teaching hours: Guaranteed approximately 30 hours per week.
• Students: Adult professionals over the age of 18. Students are based throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
• Remuneration: Set base rate of 10 USD per hour.
• Contract type: Independent Service Provider.
• Location: Work from the convenience of your home.

Responsibilities

• Deliver English lessons and guidance to students.
• Create a fun and engaging classroom environment by facilitating one-on-one or group instruction and using world-class teaching methods.
• Lead discussions, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
• Completed, accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certificate.
• 6 months of teaching or tutoring experience.
• English first-language speakers from the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
• Must be based in Central America, South America, or South-East Asia (Mexico, Brazil, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Bali, etc.).
• Computer literate.
• Clear criminal record.
• Engaging and inspiring communication skills.
• Punctual and precise timekeeping.
• Available to fit into allocated teaching shift slots.

Tech Requirements

• PC specifications: Intel Core i5 CPU at 2.1GHz (8 CPUs) or greater.
• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater.
• Backup power: Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to 4-5 hours (2000VA), or willingness to purchase one before commencing teaching.
• This is a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.
• A stable fibre internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and download speeds.
• PC connected via a LAN cable, not Wi-Fi.
• Noise-cancelling headset and HD web camera. A backup headset is highly recommended.
• Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment.
