Online English Teacher for Young Learners

Richmond English is looking for part-time online English teachers to join our growing team. This position is ideal for teachers who already have daytime commitments and are looking to add stable weekday evening hours from 6:30–9:00 PM Taiwan time.

We work with young learners in Taiwan, and we are looking for teachers who can help create classes that are positive, engaging, and enjoyable for children. At Richmond English, we have developed our own interactive curriculum and teacher hub to make lessons clear, organized, and enjoyable for both teachers and students. Our system includes a structured lesson flow, built-in activities, games, and student point rewards that encourage speaking and participation throughout class.

Much of the work of building an engaging curriculum has already been done. We are looking for teachers who can step into that system with confidence and help bring it to life for their students. This role is best suited to teachers who can build a fun, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for young learners.

About the Role

• Students: Young beginners to CEFR A1–A2 level
• Class format: Online group classes with 2–4 students
• Lesson length: 30 minutes
• Schedule: Consistent weekly time slots with the same students
• Curriculum: Fully provided through our in-house teacher hub
• Prep: Minimal prep required
• Pay: Starting at 650 NTD per hour

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and professional, with the ability to commit to a regular teaching schedule for at least 3 months
• Comfortable teaching children online
• Able to create a class atmosphere that is warm, encouraging, and engaging
• Confident in leading young learners and keeping them involved throughout the lesson
• Comfortable using interactive teaching tools and following a structured lesson system
• Online teaching experience preferred
• Applicants should hold a TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or a comparable English teaching qualification
• Native English-speaking teachers from the US, Canada, or the UK are preferred to align with our curriculum focus
