General Details

• Location: Surat Thani, Thailand
• Levels: Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary
• Work days: Mon - Fri (Sat – Sun classes also available)
• Contact time: An average of 20 teaching hours per week during the semester, with opportunities for additional hours
• Class size: 16–30 students

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach lessons using the lesson plan guidelines and materials provided
• Complete speaking and written assessments using the provided test material
• Teach in both the primary school and the private language school as assigned

Benefits

• 400B per contact hour (minimum 32,000 Baht a month)
• Insurance provided, if needed
• All 6-month work visa and permits paid
• Semesterly contracts, renewable by mutual agreement based on satisfactory performance and operational needs
• Structured induction, regular observations, and constructive teaching feedback

Qualifications

• Native speaker from the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia, South Africa, or New Zealand with a degree
• Fluent non-native speaking teachers with an Education degree and TOEIC certification may apply
• TEFL/TESOL certification
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and great with children
• A desire and passion to make a difference
