The Language School invites a dedicated Early Years educator to join our mission of providing a strong, nurturing foundation for young learners in Surat Thani. This role is ideal for a teacher who values play-based learning, understands early childhood development, and enjoys creating a warm, structured environment where children feel safe, confident, and curious. General Details- Location: Surat Thani
- Level: Nursery / Early Years (Kindergarten)
- Work days: Mon – Fri (Sat – Sun classes also available)
- Contact time: An average of 20 teaching hours per week during the semester, with opportunities for additional hours
- Class size: 16–20 students
- Teach nursery and early years classes in a primary school and private language school setting
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants (TAs) to facilitate a developmentally appropriate learning environment
- Plan and deliver play-based, child-centered lessons using provided lesson plan guidelines and materials
- Support children’s language development through songs, stories, movement, routines, and hands-on activities
- Apply a Montessori-inspired approach, encouraging independence, exploration, and positive behavior
- Complete simple speaking and developmental assessments using school-provided assessment tools
- 400 THB per contact hour (minimum 32,000 THB per month)
- Insurance provided, if needed
- All 6-month work visa and work permit costs paid
- Semesterly contracts, renewable by mutual agreement based on satisfactory performance and operational needs
- Structured induction with guidance on Early Years routines and expectations
- Regular observations and constructive teaching feedback, with a focus on early childhood practice
- Native English speaker from the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia, South Africa, or New Zealand preferred
- A degree and/or certifications (ECD / Education or Early Childhood) preferred
- Fluent non-native English speakers with a degree and/or relevant certifications are also welcome; TOEIC certification may apply
- Proven background in childcare/early years education
- Warm, patient, and reliable, with a genuine love of working with young children
- A positive, hands-on attitude and a desire to make a difference in children’s early learning journey
