Requirements

  • Must be a Native English Speaker, or a native-level speaker from a country where English is the primary language of communication and instruction.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is the minimum requirement under the regulations set by the Thai Ministry of Education.
  • A degree or teaching qualification in Early Childhood Education, or a PGCE/PGDE, is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience teaching young learners is strongly recommended and will be given priority.
  • Ready to start immediately or for the upcoming intake.

Ideal Candidates

  • Energetic, compassionate, resilient, proactive, and student-centered.
  • Strong desire and dedication to teaching Kindergarten or Primary students with varied levels of English proficiency.
  • Fully willing to relocate to Phuket for a minimum contract of 1–2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support student progress, teaching approximately 18–20 periods per week, including English, Maths, and Science.
  • Create, adapt, and implement lesson plans, course outlines, learning materials, and schemes of work for young learners with mixed language abilities.
  • Serve as a Homeroom Supervisor, guiding and supporting a designated group of students in their personal, social, and academic development.
  • Work with a Thai local homeroom co-teacher to manage classroom administration, monitor student well-being, and maintain strong communication with parents.
  • Design, adapt, grade, and provide constructive feedback on formative and summative assessments, including examination preparation and invigilation duties.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance teaching, learning, planning, assessment, and communication in the classroom.
  • Manage student data and administrative tasks, including accurate grading, progress reporting, and attendance tracking.
  • Contribute positively to the department and wider school community by participating in extra-curricular activities, school duties, and campus events as assigned.

Compensation

  • 40,000-60,000 THB/month, depending on qualifications, experience, and teaching assignments.
  • Additional income opportunities from extra lessons and homeroom allowance.
