About this position
Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary), Bangkok, is hiring two teachers for its Trilingual Programme:
- NES English Teacher (IELTS Specialist) — 1 position
- NES Physics Teacher — 1 position
NES English Teacher (IELTS Specialist)
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated English teacher to join our team, with a strong preference for candidates specializing in linguistics or related fields. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching IELTS preparation courses. All candidates are required to have proven experience in IELTS instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective IELTS lessons, including complete course syllabi.
- Equip students with the skills and strategies needed to succeed on the IELTS exam for higher education pathways.
- Maintain a well-organized, respectful, and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in and support school-wide events and activities.
- Check class attendance, monitor participation, and grade assessments accurately.
Qualifications
- Any nationality (native English speakers will be given special consideration)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in linguistics, English, education, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience teaching IELTS courses
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills: enthusiastic, empathetic, proactive, and problem-solving
NES Physics Teacher
The Trilingual Programme of Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary) Bangkok is looking for an English-speaking teacher to deliver science lessons in physics. Candidates with a degree in science or physics will be considered for the position. Candidates with a PGCE, PGCEi, teaching license, or Kurusapa teaching license will be given preference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in pure physics or physics education
- Demonstrated experience teaching physics, engineering (STEAM project), programming, and science courses
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills: enthusiastic, empathetic, proactive, and problem-solving
The courses you will be teaching for secondary school students include:
- Physics
- General physics (laboratory class for Grade 10-12 students)
- Experimental physics skills (laboratory class for Grade 9 students)
- STEAM Synergy
- Design Thinking
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
- Maintain a well-organized, respectful, and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and development.
- Participate in and support school-wide events, science fairs, student clubs, or field trips related to science.
The school is in Asoke, central Bangkok, within walking distance of both BTS and MRT stations.
What We Offer
- Starting salary: 55,000 THB/month
- Housing allowance: 10,000 THB/month
- Meals provided: breakfast and lunch
Required Documents
- A personally prepared and detailed résumé (not a downloaded job-site template)
- Proven experience in IELTS instruction documents/evidence (for IELTS teacher position)
- PGCE, iPGCE, or teaching license (if applicable) for the physics teacher position
- A copy of bachelor’s and/or master’s degree certificates and transcripts
- At least one letter of recommendation
- A recent photograph
