Modulo Language School is Bangkok's premier provider of private and small-group Japanese lessons. We are growing rapidly and looking for passionate teachers dedicated to delivering excellent lessons and being part of the best team in Bangkok.
Position
We are seeking a full-time native Japanese-speaking teacher available to teach evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and effective, dedicated to helping students learn while improving their own teaching skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach a mix of adult learners (70%+), children, and teenagers of all levels
- Deliver a wide range of courses including general Japanese, business Japanese, academic tests, reading, writing, phonics, and more
- Teach mostly private lessons (95%), with some small groups up to 8 students; occasional larger corporate classes

- Competitive lesson rates: 410 baht per 50-minute private lesson (Monday–Friday), with a 15% increase on Saturdays and 10% on Sundays
- Small group classes pay up to 600 baht per lesson
- First-year teachers can expect to earn over 45,000 baht per month on average; second-contract teachers receive 430 baht per lesson
- Limited paid leave for all full-time teachers and up to 34 days of unpaid leave for holidays and vacations
- Paid coaching and training to help teachers improve their skills
- Four schools conveniently located on Bangkok's BTS and MRT systems: Siam Paragon, Central World, Central Rama IX, and Icon Siam
- The company arranges visas and work permits for employees and covers the cost of work permits

Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree
- Hold a Japanese teaching certificate
- Currently reside in Thailand, or be willing to relocate
- Be available on evenings and weekends
- Be a native Japanese speaker from Japan
- Be willing to make a one-year commitment
