About this position
Maple College, a well-established English academy in Dongtan 1 New Town, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, is seeking one experienced native English teacher to start on December 16, 2026. The school is conveniently located about 40 minutes from Gangnam by express bus.
Position Details
- Start Date: December 16, 2026 (handover period Dec 16–18; regular classes begin after)
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Teaching Hours: Average 25 hours per week, maximum 30 hours per week
- Students: Elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Curriculum: Fully prepared lesson plans and materials
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: 2.6M–2.7M KRW, based on experience and qualifications
- Housing: Furnished studio apartment provided
- Paid Vacation: 11 days plus Korean public holidays
- Severance Pay: Given at the end of the one-year contract
- Insurance & Pension: National Health Insurance and National Pension (50% employer contribution)
- Contract: 12 months, renewable
Requirements
- Native English speaker from an E-2 eligible country or F-visa holder
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in Korea
- Currently residing in Korea and available to start on December 16, 2026
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a set curriculum
